News:

Fall 2012 registration is open.
Season starts September 19th.
Games are played on Wednesday nights on the baseball fields at Miller Park in Delray Beach.

Join us at the league sponsor bar.
All DK players will be provided with player discounts at the Hurricane Bar & Lounge after the games.

Game Basics:

* Games are 6 innings or 1 hour, whichever occurs 1st.
* Team sizes average between 17 & 22 co-ed players. We will combine players if your group is too small.
* The season consists of 7 weekly games followed by a single elimination championship.
* All players will receive an official Ultra Coed Sports team shirt in their team color (20 to choose from).

Kickball FAQ's:

Q: How much does it cost and what does the fee include.
A: The per season fee includes your spot on a team, league equipment, field space, an official team shirt, free admission to league parties, discounts at our sponsor bar on game nights but most important of all, the experience of a lifetime while making new friends, "priceless". Unfortunately we cannot provide a refund once you register so check to make sure your schedule works out for you.

Q: I haven't played since I was a kid, how competitive is this?
A: The great thing about this league is that the emphasis is on the social aspect. All the players will have different skill levels but as long as you can put your foot to the ball, you are qualified to play, it's just that simple!

Q: How different is this than the game I played in grade school?
A: It's the same except in grade school you couldn't date your team-mates or go out with everyone for a beer afterwards. Our sponsor bar will have drink specials for the players. 

Q: Do I have to sign up with a whole team?
A: Players can sign up as an individual player, with a group of friends or an entire team. We will place players together to form teams.

Q: Do I need cleats or any special equipment?
A: Cleats are optional (no metal cleats allowed) and the team shirts are provided as is the field and game equipment so all you need to do is show up.

Q: Who are the referees and what are the rules of the game.
A: Since we are a social organization we self referee, just not your own game. UCS will provide a league coordinator to oversee the games and train the referees. This helps to keep your costs down and allows for players to get to know each other. We use the International Kickball Federations rule book and our sanctioned league.

Delray Beach is a hub for social activity with special events such as the Delray Affair and Garlic Fest to name a few.  The lively downtown area hosts thousands of people nightly looking for a good time.  The opportunity to play kickball only a couple of miles from downtown and then socialize at our sponsor bar is just to awesome.

The City of Delray Beach has recently been designated a “Playful City USA” community.  Only  93 communities across the nation have received this distinguished honor.  The City was selected for this award due to its dedication and creative commitment to “play.”  One of major projects that was cited in earning this honor was the City’s efforts to rebuild Miller Park.
